Brian’s Fire Apparatus Repair worked on this beast for 8 hours in the sun, (112 degrees). The pump transmission was stuck in pump, Brian was able to free it up and manually shift it into road and wire a new ground cable to the starter. This beast fired right up after a bit of cranking. On the downside, the entire diesel fuel return line seeped and needs to be replaced. That’s 40 feet worth of return line for you statistic nuts. So we have to return another day to finish the job.

Brian will have to replace all the packing and rebuild the pump shift cylinder before it can pump water. I have to do some minor plumbing repairs and the tank will be water tight so we can shuttle water with it.
